On
you, this day, is placed the stole
Forever
marked, as priest, your soul.
No
more an ordinary man
But
one anointed for His plan.
Be
brave and follow His commands,
No
matter what a “yes” demands.
For
all belongs to Him who made
The
earth and all the stars arrayed
No
cost too great for Him who gave
His
only Son, for man to save.
To
Him a “yes” is always best.
He’ll
grant the grace for every test.
A
shepherd you are called to be
To
face the wolf, and never flee,
To
lead the flock to sweet repose
Wherein
the living water flows.
We’ll
offer prayer for you each day
That
God, through you, would light the way.
And
bring to Him a faithful throng
To
heaven’s gate where they belong.
