12/07/25 Through 12/13/25

Sunday
The Baptist sends a message clear
A mighty change is coming near
We'd best repent and change our way
Preparing for that fateful day

For in the Kingdom yet to come
A great surprise awaits for some
All truth is known, and every lie
Not even chaff of wheat can buy.

No unrepentant soul shall find
What gold and precious stones are mined
When we confess our sins and ple,
Oh God, be merciful to me!

A joy attends repentant souls
And with the Spirit, God consoles.
The humble and the poor and weak
Will have more joy than fat and sleek.

Don't waste another minute now
Repent of all your sins somehow
And turn to God in humble praise
To have this joy throughout your days.

Monday
Oh Mary so pure, oh Mary so clean
The Light of the World in your countenance seen.
None ever before or since has received
The grace of the Savior within you conceived.

All grace flows from you as light from a flame
Forever, we reverence your beautiful name
Humble in service, the temple of love,
Our model of virtue in Heaven above.

Teach us your fiat that only His will
Is all that we need to our emptiness fill.
Gifts freely given, there's many in store
Just ask to receive, and He'll give you much more.

Tuesday
A sign of love from Heaven sent
As Juan along the pathway went
The Virgin pure and undefiled
Appeared to him as one with child.

The singing birds and scent of rose
Were strong upon the path he chose
When there in bright and grand array
The Virgin stood with this to say,

"I want a shrine for little ones
For all He calls to be His sons
So, take these roses as a sign
And build a church for these of mine.

Then let them see what God can do
With even little ones like you.
Your tilma, coarse and roughly sewn
Will be a sign for centuries shown.

A sign to show that life is good
A sign for all in motherhood
To cherish well the life within
And help you turn away from sin."

Wednesday
Our source of strength and fortitude
The grace to follow through
Is more than just an attitude
It's something old, yet new.

The Spirit of the Living God
One tested, tried, and true
Gives every gift to onward plod
Into our life anew.

An easy yoke and burden light
To follow in His way
He lifts us from the darkest night
And brings the light of day.

Thursday
Without Him, a worm or maggot
But with Him, a threshing sledge
From the mire to polished agate
Now a one with sharpest edge.

John the Baptist, strong and mighty
Clothed in camel's hair and plain
Mission sent from God Almighty
Suffers loss, but all is gain

None before or since was greater
He who saw the Kingdom come
Those above with their creator
Far a greater depth they plumb

Beloved now the common man
Bridegroom comes to meet the Bride
It's far and wide His reaches span
Christ has been, for man, the guide.

Friday
Oh, Virgin pure, prepare the way
For Christ to come on Christmas day
Let every heart prepare Him room
And there within your roses bloom.

Make mountains low and valleys fill
Teach us, like you, to do His will.
Make straight the path and smooth the way
For Christ to enter, come what may.

As you once did in seven years
Eight million saved eternal tears
We once again implore your aid
To make the Father's will obeyed.

In every way, you answered, yes.
We ask you now to this address
Our little ones are lost each day,
We pray this holocaust you stay.

Touch every mother's heart with love
For that within, from God above.
And change each selfish father's heart
To give of self, and not depart.

Make strong in chastity the youth
In every way, teach them the truth
That only in this way is found
The means to build on solid ground.

Saturday
One taken aloft by the horses in flame
Forever remembered in tales of his fame
The prophet who locked up the heavens from rain
Who brought down God's fire in praise of His name

This prophet returns 'fore the coming of Christ
So hearts may be changed, and to love, be enticed.
A voice in the wilderness crying aloud
Repent, all you sinners; be humbled, you proud.

That man is Elijah, baptizing each day
And changing the path that we walk on the way
The path to repentance, and healing, and love
The path to our home in the heavens above.
