7/13/25 Through 7/19/25

 7/13/25 Through 7/19/25

Sunday
If only we would heed the Lord
If only keep His law of love
His voice would lead the way aboard
The train to life with Him above.

It's not too high or far away
It's not too hard for you to do
It's simply there along the way
An act of kindness meant for you.

Don't turn your head or glance aside
See well beyond the outward signs
For this one, too, the Savior died
With such as these in His designs.

Monday
The lines of division now clearly drawn
A clarity comes with the breaking of dawn
For all that is evil has taken its side
Be not swept away in the ravenous tide.

Unworthy are those refusing the cross
For those seeking life, must suffer some loss.
All evil destroys, but our Savior renews
If it's life that we want, then life we must choose.

Tuesday
How many signs needed for change?
What does it take to lives rearrange?
We've seen many works and wonders of grace
Yet still we remain in our obstinate place.

Drawn from water, raised as a king
Babe in a basket, freedom would bring.
Witness to wonders all worked through his hands
Yet the people still failed to heed his commands.

Woe to those who see yet remain
Planted and still awash in the stain
Sodom fares better than those who are found
Impenitent, still in their sinfulness, found.

Wednesday
Hidden from learned and hidden from wise
But plain in the view of the childlike eyes.
None knows the Father but only the Son
In simple humility, vict'ry is won.

Come to the mountaintop, come and draw near
No need to falter or tremble with fear.
Listen for all He will ask you to do
And then be obedient, faithful, and true.

Thursday
We're called to love beyond our strength
To follow Him to any length
To boldly sail uncharted seas
And so, the yoke of Jesus seize.

The Cross to share as Simon did
Though many from the burden hid
They couldn't see how light the load
Where purest love and mercy flowed.

The heavy Cross he shouldered well
And even so, the Savior fell,
But rose each time to travel on
Through darkness to the Easter dawn.

Each burden joined to Him this way
By those who listen and obey
Remains a burden we must bear,
But Christ assumes the lion's share.

Friday
Lord, let me see with clarity
The work You have laid out for me.
Make me repentant, humble, true,
And totally a one for You.

The lamb was sacrificed of old
To warm the many hearts so cold
Who failed to see that in their day
The Lord was lighting up the way.

Grant me the vision that I need
Allowing me on flesh to feed.
The Living Bread from up above
That teaches sinners how to love.

I need that food in every day
To keep me on the narrow way
Astray, I wish to never be
But one of ninety-nine with Thee.

Your love's so great You search for all
I pray they too, might hear Your call
And find the pasture green and sweet
With Godly rest and lots to eat.

Saturday
Death to life the evil planning
O'er the fields of time it spanning
See His acts of love forever
Still confound the wicked clever

Make of us a stark division
From the evil in the vision
Help us turn from sinful pleasure
To the love without a measure

Egypt, far behind and fading
Demons stuck in mire wading
Waters flowing back and drowning
God alone as King now crowning

Still today, is evil trying
But the faithful not are buying
Steady hearts of good prevailing
With the grace of God unfailing.
